Will you stand in the gap for her?

Five years ago our home church was introduced to the subject of human trafficking. We first learned of the plight of many young women in Eastern European Nations and dedicated our first CD effort to organizations working in that area. As we have continued on our journey to raise awareness on the issue of human trafficking, the significance human trafficking activity occurring in Canada was understood. It was a surprising revelation that this was happening in Canada everyday, but that knowledge lead us to continue our efforts through a second CD dedicated to raise awareness on human trafficking in Canada.

The new CD project involves 11 female artists from Fredericton, NB, Canada. The name, “The Joy Project”, was inspired by the scripture Psalm 30:5, ...weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning.  We believe there is hope through Jesus Christ. We want to work to ensure that "joy" comes for as many victims of human trafficking as possible.

We pray that you are inspired to stand in the gap with us!

"Standing in the gap" against the horrors of human trafficking, our mission is to raise awareness for women-at-risk issues and support organizations, like the Joy Smith Foundation, who are making a difference.
